Rider High sophomore, parents, excited to see Hospice of Wichita Falls fundraiser happen

Local News

The hard work of Texoma sophomore has finally paid off. The first C’est La Belle Vie: A Dancer’s Dream was held Saturday night. The event was a fundraiser, benefiting Hospice of Wichita Falls. The idea came from Rider High’s own Manasvi Reddy. She said the community should support organizations that offer services like Hospice, which is where Reddy volunteers. After all the hard work organizing the event, she’s glad it finally came to fruition.

“I’ve been imagining this night for six months now and to be here now is just crazy.” Reddy said. “I’m so excited.”

And her parents are very proud as well.

“I am very happy and very proud of what she could accomplish,” Reddy’s father Praveen said.

“She’s just done much more than I could have ever expected. I mean, I’m just amazed by her,” Aparna, Reddy’s mother, said.

All proceeds from the event will go to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
