An Archer City school bus with 38 students on board was rear-ended early this morning by a car, driven by Ryan Walls, at the intersection of Highway 79 and Carter Road. Walls told Troopers on the scene that he fell asleep.

Archer City School Superintendent Knobloch says that all 38 students have been checked out by medical personnel and that only two were transported to the emergency room. These two are said to have non-life-threatening issues that will be checked out by a doctor.

The bus was stopped at the intersection when the car rear-ended the vehicle.
