A man with around two dozen previous convictions since 2000 is going back to prison for the fifth time after being sentenced to 15 years on seven more charges, plus other sentences for two other charges to county jail.

Jessie James Greek, 36, has 15-year sentences from 78th District Judge Barney Fudge for five burglary of vehicle charges, an evading arrest charge and an unauthorized use of a vehicle charge.

Two evading arrest and three other charges are dismissed.

His jail roster sheet shows a total of 19 charges.

He was arrested in November when officers spotted a stolen pickup on Henry S. Grace Freeway.

As they closed in on it they said it took off at a high rate of speed.

They chased it to the 2200 block of Holliday where they said the driver got out and ran and was caught and arrested.
Officers said they found property stolen in recent vehicle burglaries.

Court records show around 2 dozen prior convictions for Greek including three for evading arrest and five for burglaries.

He has served four other prison terms.
