Service Master returns to Wichita Falls following Hurricane Florence

Local News

Following Hurricane Florence, 7 members of the Texas and Oklahoma departments of Service Master drove over 1300 miles to help with relief efforts on the East Coast.

Hurricane Florence has caused billions of dollars worth of damages in the Carolinas.
Sunday, the Wichita Falls Service Master returned home and owner Michael Albert says it was a humbling experience.

“The devastation was un-nerving. It was a lot. Just totally unexpected. They were out of their homes. Widespread damage water kept rising and would go down.” Service Master’s owner, Michael Albert said, “People thought they were out of the danger and in the clear and the water would re-rise to a higher level.”

The Carolinas are still experiencing high water levels and flooding.

Albert says, if it gets to that point, they may return to offer a lending hand.
