Stamp Out Hunger 2017
May 13th leave nonperishable food items on your doorstep early in the morning and members of the postal service will pick them up and deliver them to a nearby food bank.
Supported and promoted by The Wichita Falls Area Food Bank and the United State Postal Service.
Clean out your pantry or pick up a few extra items of non-perishable food when you’re out shopping and donate them during Stamp Out Hunger. Items needed include canned fruits and vegetables, canned proteins such as chicken or fish, canned ready to eat meals such as soup or pasta, bagged beans and packaged or boxed items such as rice or pasta.
There are many people in Texoma who have to decide on paying a bill or putting food on the table. Anything you can provide keeps a family from going hungry.
