Wichita Falls, TX- It was a packed house on the first floor of the historic City National Building this morning. Employees and President/CEO John Buckley of The Texoma Community Credit Union made the exciting announcement that TCCU will open a new branch at that location, on 807 8th street.
“We are so excited to be in the downtown area,” said Buckley, “this is a new market for us. We’re putting in a new office, we’re revitalizing part of downtown, we’re embracing the changes that are downtown, and we’re opening a new office in the old city national bank building and it’s been vacant for years, so we’re investing into it and we’re going to be a vital part of downtown.”
Along with better serving the community at a more convenient location, the new TCCU downtown location will have more advanced technologies than other branches. Chief Operations Officer, Angie Ohmstede says it will have cash recyclers that remove the need for a traditional vault system. She says with these new systems in place, they can manage a small but efficient space that still retains all of the exceptional and personal services people expect from TCCU.
TCCU also plans to introduce a full suite of business services including lending, checking and merchant services when the branch opens.
The new downtown branch at the City National Building is expected to serve the public this fall.
