The National Retail Federation stated 62 percent of 18- to 34-year-olds celebrating Easter plan on spending it with family and friend, and Texomans got some free family-oriented Easter events to tell you about.
The 16th annual Eggsapalooza at Evangel Church on Barnett Road Saturday morning.
The event is for children ages 1- to 11-years-old, featuring an egg hunt, games, a petting zoo, pony rides and other activities.
There will also be Kona Ice available for purchase.
Eggsapalooza starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m.
In Iowa Park, Lakeview Church officials will host its Egg-stravaganza.
This egg hunt for children ages fifth grade and under features 10,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes.
After the egg hunt, folks are encouraged to stick around and enjoy free hot dogs, popcorn, bounce houses and more.
The Eggstravaganza is sponsored by the Iowa Park Optimist Club.
We head over to Burkburnett for the Volunteer Fire Department’s annual Easter egg hunt.
The lineup starts at 9:45 a.m. Saturday with the hunt at the Friendship Park Amphitheater at 10 a.m.
In addition to the hunt, the Easter fun includes the Easter bunny, face stickers and bounce houses as well.
The fun goes until 2 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend.
