The Hospice of Wichita Falls is one step closer to being able to light up their star on top of the Merrill Lynch bank building.
This is part of their 33rd annual Tree of Lights campaign where they are trying to raise $250,000. Once they achieve that amount they will light up the star on top of the Christmas tree on the Merrill Lynch building.
Alisa Echols with the Hospice of Wichita Falls says they are thankful for the people that donated.
“It is never taken advantage of this community support that we have here at the Hospice of Wichita Falls and it is truly everybody donating to this cause so we can just continue to provide exceptional care here,” Echols said.
Echols says they have currently raised $87,000 and if you would like to donate you can until December 14th, click here.
