Today is your last day to register to vote in the bond election on May 5.

As part of the bond, some of the main projects involve improvements at Lake Wichita and Downtown Wichita Falls.

Other potential projects include funding for a new municipal government center in the downtown area and police and fire department facilities.

There are also street repairs which could help fund the Maplewood extension that widens parts of Taft Boulevard and drainage improvements.

You have until 5 p.m. to go to the Wichita County Clerk’s office to register, all you need is the last four digits of your social security number and a valid driver’s license.

You can fill out the form online but the application must be postmarked today.
