Trial underway for former Chillicothe City Councilor for allegedly victimizing children

A trial is now underway in Quanah for a former Chillicothe City Councilor and hospital employee charged with victimizing children over several years.

Bryan Rambo, 49, was charged in late 2017 with 16 counts of sexual assault or indecency involving at least five children, three boys and two girls, from 2006 to 2014.

Hardeman County Sheriff Pat Laughery said Rambo was arrested on Oct. 13, 2017, after parents of one of the alleged victims came forward with information.

An investigation began, which led to the discovery of other alleged victims.

Interviews at Patsy’s House in Wichita Falls led to three separate arrest warrants for Rambo.

13 counts against Rambo were filed for aggravated sexual assault and three for indecency.

The majority of the alleged crimes occurred in 2008 with one boy listed as a being victimized six times from June 2008 to January 2009.

Rambo was a city councilor in Chillicothe from 2013 to 2016 and he also worked in the Chillicothe Hospital.
