WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Former White House physician and Republican candidate for Texas’ district 13 Dr. Ronny Jackson joined us for a live discussion about President Trump’s positive COVID-19 test result on Friday, Oct. 2.

“I know firsthand that he’s in great physical condition, he doesn’t have any co-morbities, no cardiac disease, no pulmonary disease, no diabetes, no immunocompromised, none of those things that would put him at risk,” Jackson said.

Jackson said he trusts the experimental antibody treatment President Trump has taken, stating the technology in the treatment has been around for some time now and is in phase three of trials.

Dr. Jackson also said he expects the president to do “pretty well with this,” and suspects him to remain relatively asymptomatic beyond his current symptoms.
