While students continue to study for exams and work on projects, two Wichita Falls ISD high school seniors were awarded national honors.

As a result of their high scores on the College Board PSAT test, Wichita Falls High School senior Ryan Faulkner and Rider High School senior Kerri Lu qualified as National Merit Semifinalists.

More than 1.6 million juniors in 22,000 high schools across the nation entered the contest back in October 2017, and the 16,000 students who earned the title are the highest scoring entrants of each state. An announcement for the finalist level will come in February 2019.

Wichita Falls ISD continuously has students earn the prestigious title.
