Local News

UPDATE: July, 13, 2020 4:19 p.m.

Daniel Nix with The City of Wichita Falls reported that a main break on a 12 inch line on Kemp in front of Brick Town is what caused the water outage for many businesses along Call Field Monday afternoon.

The break has been repaired and water services will be returned to the businesses Monday evening.

One lane of traffic on the North bound side of Kemp will be closed where the repair took place.

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Businesses along Call Field Road in Wichita Falls are closed due to water issues.

Businesses such as Chick-fil-A, Olive Garden, Chilis, and Stripes are reported to be closed until the issue can be handled.

We have reached out to the Wichita Falls Public Works department for an update, but have yet to hear back.
