For 70 years Smith’s Gardentown Farms has served Texoma providing customers with the best in products, services, and advice.

Founded by C.O. Smith, Sr., in the 1940s, the family business operated for many years under the direction of Curtis W. Smith, and continues with his children, Katherine and Steve Smith.

Over the years, Smith’s has been honored with many industry awards, including Texas Family Business of the Year from the Baylor University School of Business; and Top 100 Independent Garden Centers in America by Nursery Manager Magazine.

Chosen as Texoma’s Best year after year by readers of the Wichita Falls Times Record News, Smith’s is known as the place to go for expert assistance and the finest plants and products.

In 2011, Smith’s was honored as the winner of the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence.

In 2012, the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce nominated Smith’s as Family Business of the Year.

And on Tuesday, May 21 2019, they received a proclamation from Wichita Falls Mayor Stephen Santellana in recognition of their 70th anniversary.
