A 38-year-old Wichita Falls man was charged with burglary of a habitation after police said he burglarized a neighbor’s home.
Beau James Selby bond was set at $10,000.
Police said a resident in the 3000 block of Stearns Ave. reported a burglary of several guns, yard equipment, a TV, and other items.
Several days later, police responded to a report of a possible burglary on Lavell Ave.
Officers said they found Selby inside who said it was his home, and he was using a flashlight because the electricity was cut off.
They also said meth was found.
They proceeded to use force to restrain Selby, and during the struggle, a checkbook fell out of his pocket which belonged to the burglary victim on Stearns.
After Selby and his wife gave consent to search the home, police returned the next day and found numerous stolen items in a shed.
