WFPD: Car burglaries down

After a recent rash of car buglary arrests, Wichita Falls police say numbers are down. According to police, between May 21 and June 3, there were 28 vehicles broken into, which is a 37 percent reduction from the last period.

They say only one car showed signs of forced entry and two guns were stolen over all..

The department is reminding to take, lock and hide your belongings when you leave your car parked.
