A Wichita Falls man is sentenced to prison after police found stolen items, a gun, drugs and brass knuckles in his truck last year.

Billy Lee Pierce, 48, was sentenced to six years for possession of a firearm by a felon, and eighteen months in state jail for theft and possession of meth.

Two other charges were dismissed and one theft charge is pending in Archer County.

Pierce has previous convictions for theft, burglary and drugs as well.

Last July, police spotted Pierce driving a pickup reported stolen in Archer County.

They found a welder in the back, which also turned out to be stolen.

In the cab, they found a handgun and a bag of meth, and a search of Pierce turned up 38 illegal prescription pills and brass knuckles.
