WFPD: Three men charged with more than 60 grams of meth near WFHS

Local News

Three men are charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone after police officers said they found more than 60 grams of meth in a car.

Marvin Throneberry, 30, and Stephen Bonds, 31, are in the Wichita County jail on $50,000 bonds.
Brandon South has bonded out.

Officers said on Wednesday they pulled over a car on Avenue F and Monroe driven by bonds.

When they were talking to him. authorities said he said there was a bong in the car in a backpack.

When police officers searched the bond they said there looked to be meth on top of the liquid in the bottom.

The police then searched the car and said they found two bags both with more than 30 grams of meth between the passenger seat and console.

Since they were stopped less than 1,000 feet away from Wichita Falls High School their charges were enhanced.
