WFPD: Woman charged after children test positive for multiple drugs

A 24-year-old Wichita Falls woman is charged with two counts of child endangerment after authorities say her two children tested positive for multiple drugs.

Police said they were notified by a child protective services investigator that wherry tested positive for cocaine, marijuana and meth, and she had two children in her care, ages 1- and 7-years-old.

Officers said lab results of tests on the children showed the 1-year-old tested positive for presence of amphetamine, meth, cocaine and benzo compounds. 

The 7-year-old tested positive for cocaine and marijuana.

Wherry is no longer in jail.
