Some goal setting was the main topic of discussion for the Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation.
They discussed things other communities have done to give them some ideas of what the board could do with the 4A tax proceeds to bring new companies and jobs to Wichita Falls.
The rest of the day included a goal setting discussion.
They talked about new trends they could utilize for economic development, and challenges they’ve had in the past.
Chamber of commerce CEO Henry Florsheim says they haven’t had one of these meetings in a while and he hopes to change that.
“I’m a big advocate of planning and so I asked if we could do this and they said yes and so it will be an annual meeting from here on out,” Florsheim said.
Florsheim says they also focused on the relationship between the Chamber, 4A Board, and the city.
