You could soon be sipping on suds as you enjoy the newest releases at the theater.
According to a notice posted in the window at Cinemark 14 Theater in Parker Square Shopping Center on Wednesday, the location has applied for licenses to allow movie goers to buy and consume alcoholic beverages on the premises.
Although the permits state mixed drinks and late night consumption, we are not sure at this time exactly what the theater plans to serve.
Cinemarks in other locations serve beer, wine, specialty cocktails and frozen drinks.
According to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission’s website it can take anywhere from 45 days to two months to obtain a permit.
We’ll keep you posted on that progress.
