A Burkburnett woman is scheduled to be in court on Friday to plead to possession of another person’s ID after a new arrest on those same charges.
Wendy Lynn Martin, 44, is charged with possession of ID information, three drug charges and three bond violations for previous charges.
Martin was arrested Monday on Brook Avenue for a traffic violation.
Police officers said Martin gave them consent to search the car, and they found a digital scale in her purse and a pill bottle with nine pills inside and the label ripped off. They said they also found crystal meth in several small baggies and another baggie with six orange pills cut in half.
An officer also said he found a debit card belonging to someone else and two checkbooks belonging to two other people.
Martin was arrested last September for possession of drugs and possession of someone else’s ID.
Police officers said she was stealing donated items from Faith Resale on Jacksboro Highway. Officers said a search of Martin’s purse revealed four checks from four different financial institutions issued to four different people.
They said Martin also had someone else’s Gobank Visa debit card in her wallet, Tylenol with codeine pills and a baggie of methamphetamine.
