Community members rallied Friday night to remember 21-year-old Domanic Thrasher.

He was shot and killed earlier this week on Yuma Trail near Gunninson Drive.

Over at his Alma Mater, former Rider classmates and friends lovingly remembered his sense of humor and infamous pranks.

His mother and aunt said Thrasher can never be replaced.

“We all love Dominic and we found out how many more people not just like him but loved him, you know? He’s got a lot of love and lot of support from the community and this should happen to nobody,” stated Thrasher’s Aunt, Tamesha Holt.

“I just want to say thank you to the community for all the love and support they have shown me, have showed my family. Because it has truly helped me, is helping me get through this tough time in my life,” said Dominic’s Mom, Tamika Thrasher.

Police are still investigating his death while searching for a black man and white woman who they believe to be involved.
