(NBC) – Faced with rising beef and lower poultry costs, McDonald’s and Burger King are pushing more chicken items.
Along with increased promotion, both are resurrecting past menu casualties.
After a two-year hiatus, McDonald’s has brought back its Chicken Select Tenders for a limited-time, while Burger King has re-introduced its Chicken Fries at select restaurants around the country.
Chicken Fries were pulled from the menu in 2012.
