Nashville, Arkansas Tornado Kills Two

(KARK) Nashville, Arkansas- “Sort of like dominoes when the first one hit, hit the first trailer hit the second trailer, all the rest of them ended up out in the pastor.”

These mobile homes at RJ Trailer Park leveled after a EF-2 tornado pummeled this Nashville neighborhood.

“It was a strong tornado, I would right now the winds were over 100 miles per houe.”

Families and friends sifting through debris.

Searching for they can keep, and remembering what they have lost.

“Beautiful little family and they loved their daughter very much.”

Michael and Melissa Mooneyhan were killed.

Officials say one of the toppling trailers was theirs.

When the married couple was found this morning, their 18-month-old daughter Emily was shielded between them. Safe and alive.

“They gave up their life for their child”

Town crews and friends now working to clean-up.

“She had texted me Happy Mother’s Day yesterday.”

And says her and husband’s sacrifice has changed her life.

“Hugged my little newborn grandson because you just never know, you never know the last time you’re going to see somebody.”

Speaking with neighbors in the area they say emily is with her grandparents. They were told they will be without power for several days.
