Oregon Man Jailed After Hit and Run on U.S. 287

News
An Oregon man suspected of committing a hit and run Friday night has bonded out of the Clay County Jail.

Officials say the suspect, Florichel Paladiy, is charged with two counts of accident causing serious bodily injuries.

His bond was set at $5,000.

It happened on Highway 287 between Wichita Falls and Jolly around 7:30 Friday night.

DPS Troopers say that the driver of a pick up had stopped to change a flat tire on his pickup.

That’s when officials say Paladiy was driving a semi in the same direction southbound hit him.

Officials say he was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A passenger inside the pickup was also injured and taken to the hospital.

Paladiy’s truck was found in the Walmart parking lot in Bowie.
