A man with a long record of burglaries and thefts is in jail after Wichita Falls police say they found him hiding behind a rollout dumpster filled with items taken from a closed business.
27-year-old Marshall Tanner of Wichita Falls is jailed on charges of burglary of a building and theft of copper.
His bonds total $30,000.
Police went to a closed auto shop on 5th Street Saturday morning to investigate a report of a break-in.
Officers found a board had been removed to gain entry, and say they found tanner hiding behind the trash can filled with tools and copper wire.
Also, an air conditioning unit had been removed from the window.
Tanner has arrests and convictions dating back to 2006 in Burkburnett and Wichita Falls, and last year was sentenced to eight months in jail for theft of metals.
