To ensure every young lady feels beautiful and confident on prom night, high school student Addison Lobaugh, put on an event Thursday evening at Primp and Blow to help bring in donations so she can help raise supplies for Project Prom.

According to Lobaugh, she started the project in the fall of 2016 as a way to allow ladies the opportunity to experience prom.

“It is just part of the full high school experience. I do feel like everyone should get to experience it, so the fact that I am helping someone get there, is awesome, and it feels so good,” Lobaugh said.

Through the program, Lobaugh collects dresses, shoes, purses and makeup to make sure every girl who wants to go to prom has the opportunity to get the full experience.

Last year, she was able to help 50 girl, and Lobaugh said  they are still in need of more dresses and makeup.
