Hundreds of local Texoma kids will open gifts on Christmas morning, thanks to employees at Sealed Air-Cryovac in Iowa Park.
It’s a long-standing tradition for employees at Sealed Air to band together to provide gifts for children in need, and this year, they’re fulfilling Christmas wish lists for 358 kids.
The toys are being given to the children through Salvation Army, CASA of Red River, and A World for Children.
“They don’t think twice about staying within a budget, they just want these children to have the best Christmas ever so they go above and beyond to make sure that happens,” Mashun Tidwell with Sealed Air said.
“When they receive a bountiful Christmas just like this, they are just elated,” Laura Grimsinger with CASA added. “Many times, kids worry, you know, is Santa Claus going to find them. And thanks to Sealed Air, absolutely, Santa Claus does.”
Tidwell said this is one the most loved traditions by employees at her company, and they hope to continue it for years to come.
