A woman is now charged after authorities say a loss prevention officer from JC Penneys tried to recover property and then was injured. Investigators say the Wichita County jail mail list and visitors log led them to Stephanie Thatcher.
They say she was in contact with Chase Robb, who was charged in this incident last month. An arrest affidavit states Robb kicked and hit the employee, before the employee jumped into the car with Robb and Thatcher.
Investigators say the vehicle stopped at Schlotsky’s deli and Thatcher got out wearing one cuff and then got into the driver’s side, while the employee continued to hold onto the other handcuff.
They say the prevention officer was dragged about 50 feet before letting go.
