Subway robbery suspect arrested

The man Wichita Falls police believe robbed the Subway restaurant on Fairway Blvd. remains behind bars on a $150,000 bond.

Gregory Marcus Reynolds, 51, of Lubbock was arrested Wednesday.

Police say a man entered the Subway on Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. and demanded money.

The report did not mention a weapon but did indicate he was possibly armed.

About two weeks after the robbery, police issued an arrest warrant naming Reynolds.

Authorities say they arrested Reynolds near United Regional Hospital after receiving a crime stoppers tip.

It’s not clear why Reynolds was near the hospital, although they say he could have been visiting someone there.

Reynolds has a previous conviction for theft over $30,000 in Lubbock in 2016.
