Volunteer: Annual Wichita Falls ‘Bicycle Swap’ Big Success

The Wichita Falls Bicycling Club hosted the 2016 Bicycle Swap Saturday morning at the Hotter’N Hell office.
One of the volunteers described it like a garage sale, where club members and people can bring bikes and equipment. Items people want to sell to members of the community.
“This is definitely the training season,” John Fritzsch, bike club volunteer, said. “Folks preparing for the rides through out the area  – as well as for the Hotter’N Hell this summer. So it’s a great time to start getting your gear ready and getting your bikes ready for those events.”
Local retailers like the Endurance House or the MSU Cycling Team were also at this event.
The event was supposed to run until noon, but the crowds had already cleared out by 11 a.m. because it was such a success this year. Volunteers said it was a great turnout and many of the items for sale were already gone by 10 a.m.
