Wichita Falls Police Investigate Two Early Morning Robberies

News

Wichita falls police are investigating two overnight robberies, one at a hotel and one at a local restaurant.

The first happened around 12:45 at the Days Inn on Kell Blvd.

Police say a man was walking in the hallway of the hotel when a white woman walked up and asked him if he had a bottle of water.

They say when the man went to check his hotel room another male walked up behind him and threatened him with a handgun.

After the man got the victim on the floor police say they searched the room.

Police are still investigating at this time. They say one white male and one white female were involved in this crime, but a third woman could have been involved.

And just an hour later the Whataburger on Central Freeway was robbed this time by a lone man.

This time they say a man walked in to the restaurant and demanded the cashier hand over the cash register.

Police say the victim described the man as being white, and wearing a tan jacket, black pants, and gloves.

They say after the manager handed over the drawer he left the scene.
