Former Burkburnett Bulldog and Baylor Running Back, Devin Chafin, has been dismissed from Baylor’s football team. In March, Chafin was suspended following an arrest where he was caught in Oklahoma allegedly bringing back marijuana from Colorado.  Chafin was also mentioned in an ESPN Outside the Lines report for allegedly assaulting a woman in 2014.  That report emerged as an investigation into the way Baylor and the Waco Police Department handled allegations against football players.
Chafin rushed for 583 yards and 9 touchdowns throughout the 2015 season.  He finishes his career at Baylor with 1,261 total rushing yards and 21 touchdowns, as well as 5 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown.
