Midwestern State University Men’s Head Basketball Coach Resigns – March 12, 2019

This afternoon Nelson Haggerty, the Midwestern State University men’s head basketball coach resigned. He was with Midwestern State for ten years. He was head coach for eight seasons. He has helped Midwestern State get two hundred and nine wins, seven NCAA tournament appearances, five Lone Star Conference Championships, and three Elite Eight appearances. Haggerty finished his career at Midwestern State with a 154-88 record. The search for a new men’s head basketball coach is now underway.
