Hirschi Huskie Lloyd Murray Received several division one offers.. Finally deciding to head west to play for the University of Colorado. Murray earned District Defensive Co-Player of the Year finishing his senior season with 59 tackles and a team high 14 tackles for loss.

“Coach Mel Tucker took me in at Georgia the past three years, and he was their defensive coordinator. Now he’s the head coach and I play defensive so I just felt like.. he was recruiting me at Georgia. You know the day after they played Texas he hit me up and he was like..” I may be going to Colorado,” so he was like, “I would love for you to join me. And be in Boulder with me. ” And I just felt like it was perfect,” said Lloyd Murray.

    Hirschi’s Jaron Humphrey earned First Team All-District honors. Humphrey will be taking his football skills to Wayland Baptist to become a pioneer.

    National Signing Day in Texoma started early this morning at Holliday High School.. District 8-3a Offensive MVP Jett Johnson is taking his talents to West Texas… More specifically West Texas A&M.

“It was humbling.. It was very fun. Something I have been dreaming of since I was a little kid, and I have been working hard for this moment. It’s also releaving to get to this point and the work is only getting started from here,” said Jett Johnson.

    Another Eagle signing today… Carson Tyler signing to play for East Central University. Tyler played Varsity for two years earning All-District Honors.
    In Vernon…. 1st Team All-District Wide Receiver Anthony Garza signed with West Texas A&M to continue his football career. Garza scored six touchdowns while accounting for 437 yards of offense in his senior season.

    Wichita Falls’s A.J. Byrd IS heading yo  Southern Nazarene. The first-team All-District Wide Receiver wracked up 71 catches for eleven hundred and seventy one yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior.

        Rider’s Kyler Spear will continue his football career at Southwestern Oklahoma University. The tight end helped lead the Raiders to the 5A State Semi-finals.
    And Rider Lady Raider… Jasmyn Montgomery is coming off a first-team all-district performance. She signed to play soccer for Southwestern University.

    At Iowa Park High School.. Chris Dickens will be taking the mound at Seminole State Community College. The 2018 First Team All-State pitcher had a 20-3 pitching record in just two years finishing with a .094 ERA.
