Congratulations to Rider Raider Ty Caswell on rewriting Rider’s basketball school record book. Caswell broke records in six different categories throughout his four years wearing a #12 uniform for the Raiders. These records include, total points scored, assists, three-pointers made, number of games played, and games scoring twenty points or more. He also earned District 4-5A MVP honors for the third consecutive season.
Caswell put up 1,925 points during his four years at Rider. He surpassed TJ Vasher’s record of 1,921 points; he wracked up 503 assists and made 285 threes. Caswell made 468 freethrows with a free throw percentage of 83 percent. He played in 128 games, and in 36 of those games he scored 20 points or more. Caswell will go on to play at the collegiate level at Lubbock Christian University next fall.
