One of the busiest Saturdays on the local sports calendar so far in 2023!

In the high school basketball world, Wichita Christian hosted a bi-district round boys playoff game. The Stars welcomed the Storm of Athens Christian.

At Midwestern State, the Mustangs were in action all over campus.

Inside the D.L. Ligon Coliseum, the men’s and women’s basketball teams hosted airmen from Sheppard Air Force base for a doubleheader against Angelo State. At the MSU Tennis Center, the Mustangs welcomed the Savage Storm of Southeastern Oklahoma State for men’s and women’s matches. And over at Stang Park, the Midwestern State softball team hosted day two of the MSU round-up.

Plus, Vernon College continued its four game series against Redlands Community College at Chaparral Field.
