Nighthawks Head Coach Billy Back Named IFL Coach of the Year

First year Nighthawks head coach Billy Back has been named Indoor Football League Coach of the Year after leading the team to their first playoff berth. The Nighthawks finished at 11-5 on the season, sporting the top defense in the country. Under Back’s leadership, the Nighthawks became just the second team in IFL history to top 1,000 points in a season with 1,001.
 
The Nighthawks also had five players named to the All-IFL team this year, including QB Charles McCullum, WR Jordan Jolly, K Rockne Belmonte, RB Tyler Williams, and DL Walter Thomas.
